This Alabama wedding was a very traditional, full day wedding, that went from around 8a-6pm. We started the day off with a casual salon visit to get the bride’s prep going. This prep then continued on at the farm where bride and groom started their separate prep. Although I can’t always guarantee I’ll be able to shoot both parties prepping, I almost always manage to shoot both. (In some rare circumstances where I can’t, a great backup plan is giving my extra camera body to someone and pre-setting the camera so the photos will turn out.)

After the prep we managed to do a couples shoot, although this is usually done after the wedding so the couples save the surprise for the ceremony, for some it’s less stressful to spend this solo time beforehand. The couples shoot took us to the first look/reveal for the parents of the bride which was a touching (though brief) moment. Finally the day finished with a beautiful outdoors ceremony.
